The Nicholson Events DJ and MC roster is hand picked. Everyone on this page is vetted on hundreds of dance floors before they ever step into one of yours. Some are pure DJs with deep club residencies. Some are pure MCs trained for high energy mitzvah and corporate hosting. A few are both, the rare hybrid who can read a room, run the program, and still hold the mix.

Every one of them can take the night high energy or keep it bespoke and refined, reading the room in real time and guiding your guests to become the energy of the party. Sound quality is a point of pride: we tune volume levels to the room so you can hold a conversation and enjoy your guests even while the dance floor is moving, and your must-play list, do-not-play list, and guidance are followed to the letter.

We serve clients across New York City, Connecticut, Westchester County, the Hamptons, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and destinations worldwide. The roster covers mitzvahs, corporate events, galas, weddings, sweet 16s, and milestone celebrations. Each profile spells out a specialty so you can pick the right energy and the right fit for the event you are planning.

Booking a DJ is not a checkbox. The right DJ for a 13 year old boy who wants nothing but hip hop is not the right DJ for a 250 guest gala with a live band and a quiet cocktail hour. The process starts with a conversation about the event format, guest count, age range, vibe, and the venue itself.

From there we recommend two or three names from the roster that fit the night, and we walk you through why each one is on the short list. Pair the DJ with an MC where the format calls for it, layer in dancers or specialty acts if energy needs an extra lift, and lock the lineup early so the artist can prep the night with intention.
